Welcome to the Uptown Cafe

The Uptown Cafe is located in the heart of downtown Bloomington, Indiana on the Square. We prepare meals with a Cajun Creole style, with bold flavors, hearty portions and personality. Hours We are open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. We serve brunch on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday dinner hours are 5 to 10 p.m. News Valentine's Day Spend Valentine's Day at The Uptown! View our special dinner menu, available from 5 - 10 p.m. on Tuesday, February 14. Reservations are recommended. Expansion Update: The Uptown bar expansion will be open in mid-March. The new full-service bar will have eight beers on tap, as well as fine wine, quality spirits and cocktails. Lake Hubbard represented The Uptown at Chef's Challenge Sept. 4.
